PRAYER SPACES & LOCAL MOSQUES
We’re blessed to have many mosques in Glasgow, with a few in close walking distance from the University.
We also have several prayer spaces on Campus providing facilities for brothers and sisters. We also hold Jummah (Friday Prayers) in the Forehall of the Gilbert Scott Building (Please visit out facebook for more infomation on its times/location)

Generally, for first year undergraduate students, the University offers halls and so the majority of these students choose this as their default option. Most students who are not 1st Year Students generally move into private student accommodation or rent a house/flat privately with friends.
If you would like, you can try and find Muslim house mates using our social media (Facebook, WhatsApp etc) to get a few people together and rent a house/accommodation privately. OR
You can fill in our ‘live modifiable online accommodation form’ and add in your details. Please rerember to save it. This way you can see and contact other individuals yourself. Click the orange links below.
We also have a document that may be useful if you are looking for private acccommodatiom which is given out by the University of Glasgow Accommodation Services. Please click the black button below.
NOTE ABOUT OUR ACCOMMODATION SERVICE : This service is not to choose housemates for you. It’s to get a list of individuals looking for accommodation and housemates and then suggesting other individuals to them. We do not assign housemates. This is to ensure it is completely your decision who you share accommodation with. This service is just to help with the process of finding other likeminded people who are in the same position as you.
